Every work has its own destiny. So does my book titled "The Shadow Knight," which finally reached the hands of the founder of the Indonesian World Records Museum (MURI), Jaya Suprana, two days ago. Jaya Suprana invited the main character in the book, Teddy Kardin, to his talk show. Teddy is an ITB-graduated geologist, a jungle survival expert, and the maker of T Kadrin brand knives. Previously, the same book also appeared on the Kick Andy Show on Metro TV (February 11, 2024).
This book was launched at the NuArt Sculpture Park on August 18, 2023. It tells the story of Teddy Kardin's adventures traveling around Indonesia with only a buffalo skinner. He learned survival skills while being a member of the Wanadri organization and living with the Dayak people in Kalimantan. He combined these skills with his geological knowledge gained from ITB. His acquaintance with Prabowo Subianto, who was a major at the time, led him to be involved in three major operations without getting killed.
